A New Site!:

This site is our first attempt at creating a website to be used as a tool for informing our troop members as well as the general public on matters concerning the troop and upcoming events. I'm sure there will be a few bugs, so please contact me with your questions and concerns.

Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 117

Troop 117 is located in Coatesville, PA and meets at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. It was established in 1980. The troop is an active troop and meets Wednesday night at 7PM. They go camping often and attend local Boy Scout summer camps. Our Scoutmaster is Warren Selin and our Committee Chairman is Chuck Coxson.

The troop usually goes on a camping trip once a month, doing everything from rock climbing to whitewater rafting. Fund raisers include the BSA popcorn sale and a plant sale to help offset costs. A normal camping trip usually only costs around 15 dollars! The troop also spends a week at Camp Horseshoe at the Rothrock adirondacks in July. We also continually collect used ink jet cartridges and cell phones.
